NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Paediatrics and Child Health
Transforming child health through technology and innovation
The NIHR HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) in Paediatrics and Child Health is one of the 14 HRCs, funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
The HRCs work with patients, businesses, universities, and NHS Trusts to support the development of medical devices, diagnostics, and digital technologies.
The NIHR HRC in Paediatrics and Child Health is the only HRC dedicated to children, young people, and their families.
Prior to 01 April 2024, the NIHR HRC in Paediatrics and Child Health was known as the NIHR Children and Young People MedTech Co-operative (NIHR CYP MedTech). Read our five year impact report to find out about NIHR CYP MedTech’s achievements and highlights.
