Medipex NHS Innovation Awards & Showcase 2026: Registration and Programme Announcements

The Medipex NHS Innovation Awards & Showcase 2026 will be held online on Wednesday 24th June to showcase the finalists and announce the winners, and registration is now open!
The Medipex NHS Innovation Awards & Showcase 2026 is an opportunity to acknowledge and promote the achievements of NHS staff members and their collaborators who have developed innovative ideas to improve patient care across the NHS.
The NIHR HRC in Paediatrics and Child Health team is pleased to once again support this event and we look forward to what will be another engaging and successful showcase. Our team looks forward to hosting an interactive breakout session where we will explore the ‘Barriers and Challenges in Paediatric HealthTech’.
2026 Award Categories
There are five categories for the awards, including a new Industry-led category this year.
NHS-led categories:

- Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve patient outcomes
- Improved treatments, therapies, and rehabilitation
- Delivering benefits through diagnosis and screening
- Process and systems innovations
New to this year, the 5th category is Industry-led: “Addressing patient safety challenges”.
