The Medipex NHS Innovations Awards and Showcase 2025 took place last week on Wednesday 25 June. The event provided the opportunity to celebrate and support NHS staff and their collaborators who are driving innovation to enhance patient care.
For 2025, entries were invited from NHS-led teams from all over the UK, across four categories. A panel of internal and external judges selected three finalists from each category, which each showcased at the awards event before the winners were announced. The categories for 2025 were:

Jacob says: “It was excellent to see so much interest in this vital area, and be able to share our exciting plans for the future of child health technology, and we thank Medipex for the opportunity. Ensuring young people have the best possible start in life can have a huge impact on their entire lifespan, and the upcoming National Centre for Child Health Technology reinforces our commitment to providing the highest quality of care in Sheffield and beyond.”
Medipex are looking forward to engaging with all the award entrants to see how they can help them move their project forwards and increase the impact of their innovation.
