Insigneo Smart Devices and Sensors Theme: Collaboration Sprint Workshop

Registration is now open for the Insigneo Smart Devices & Sensors (SD&S) Collaboration Sprint on Monday 15th September from 12pm-4pm at the University of Sheffield.
This event is open to those with an interest in smart devices, sensors, or related multidisciplinary research or with clinical problems to solve.
Why attend?
- Connect with academics and clinicians across diverse fields
- Brainstorm potential solutions for real-world clinical problems
- Explore ideas for new grants and collaborative projects under the SD&S theme
- Spark partnerships that could lead to interdisciplinary funding opportunities
Event Format
- Three 45 minute “brainstorm sprints”, each focussing on a set of themes or challenges
- Themes/topics will be selected from the proposals received through the registration form
- Each sprint will include short pitches, table-based discussions, and summary feedback to the whole group
- A working lunch will be included
Register and Propose a Theme/Challenge
If you are interested in leading a table discussion, please submit an idea for a theme/challenge on the registration form. This could be a particular clinical problem you’d like to solve, a specific technology gap, or an idea for a grant/research project.
Proposals are welcome from researchers/innovators at all stages of their career, whether you are an experienced academic, early career researcher, clinician, or company representative.
