This day-long event is aimed at students and recent graduates interested in research, and will enable them to learn more about engaging with and getting involved in health and care research.

The event will cover:

• Interactive sessions with discussion leaders and workshops;
• An introduction to research careers from those new to research, plus talks on why research matters, and demystifying research;
• Opportunities to engage with wider stakeholders through stalls available at the event; and
• The chance to meet other attendees and learn from researchers at a range of career stages.

Attendance from people inspiring to be healthcare professionals, social work and public health professionals, researchers, and those under-represented within NIHR is encouraged.
