Call for Applications: Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity Project Grant

Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity is backing bold ideas to improve care for children and young people. Apply for up to £50,000 to support a research project before Monday 17th November.

Projects should align with the South Yorkshire Children and Young People’s Health Research (SCYPHeR) themes:

  • Rare disease
  • Child health technologies
  • Health inequalities
  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Child welfare and safeguarding
  • Co-production and voice of the child

Research should also align with the NHS 10 Year Health Plan and the 3 strategic shifts, moving care from hospital to community, sickness to prevention, and analogue to digital.

What are we looking for?

Applicants must demonstrate that their work will benefit Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, provide scientific progress, help improve the lives of young people and families, and lead to a defined research output.

New and early career researchers are especially encouraged to apply.
