SUMMARY:Seventeenth Doctoral Research Training Camp
DESCRIPTION:A key aspect of a career in research is the ability to know how to put together a successful application for funding. The purpose of the training camp is to offer in-person delegates access to a practical group experience in preparing grant proposals. \nAttendance at the full 3 day camp is limited by nomination. The plenary session from Day 1 (7th July)\, will be live streamed to allow those not eligible or unable to attend in-person to gain virtual access to the presentation sessions to support the development of future research proposals. \nThe plenary session will include talks on: \n\ndeveloping your research question\nthe art of selling yourself and your project\nopportunities available in the NIHR\n\nThere will be a Q&A session at the end of the live stream of the plenary session for virtual delegates. Delegates will have heard from a range of subject experts highlighting key considerations when applying for future funding.
