SUMMARY:Innovation Champion Network (ICN) Sessions
DESCRIPTION:The Innovation Champion Network (ICN) sessions will start again in January 2026.  Medipex will be presenting an  ‘Introduction to Innovation and Intellectual Property’ across several dates and times. \nThe ICN forum aims to promote innovation across all NHS staff and create a network of people interested in engaging in discussions\, activities and to highlight the support available to healthcare innovators. \nThese sessions will also support NHS Organisations to comply with the Step 3 Good Practice Principles of the updated NHS IP Guidance: Intellectual property (IP) guidance for the NHS in England – GOV.UK \nThe ICN presentation will cover: \n\nWhat is intellectual property (IP)?\nThe importance of IP in the NHS and how it fits with innovation\nHow to identify and protect IP\nConsiderations for assessing and progressing ideas\nWhat is the role of individuals in IP development and management\n\nSessions will run on Thursday 19th March and Tuesday 31st March.
